Good Pitch Deccan

The global pandemic of 2020-21 was especially hard on women and other marginalised genders, with a multiplication of challenges and responsibilities. It is against this backdrop that the Indian Documentary Foundation, along with Point of View, presented Good Pitch Local – Deccan. The forum brought forth 8 gender-based stories from the states of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. The 3-hours virtual event held in August 2021 brought together more than 150 changemakers who combined forces with the mediamakers to offer innovative approaches to create on-ground impact.
